About me
I’m Luka Mutić, a web developer with 5+ years of experience and a product and growth mindset. I build fast, reliable websites and web experiences that are designed to ship, iterate, and perform.
Professionally, I’ve worked across a wide range of web projects: from smaller WordPress sites to complex WordPress and WooCommerce solutions with custom themes, as well as modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries. Today, I work on the technical side of the Investing Insiders platform as the lead web developer, owning key features end to end and collaborating closely with design to deliver polished, user-focused results. Previously, I worked at Brame in Zurich, building custom gamified marketing solutions and leading the company website across marketing and engineering. Before that, I spent three years at a WordPress agency, shipping everything from page-builder builds to fully custom theme work. If you want the full timeline and details, you can find the complete story on my LinkedIn profile.
My path wasn’t linear. I started in natural sciences, studied Chemistry, and then pivoted into Software and Information Engineering at Singidunum University, starting professional work in tech even before enrolling.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hiking, taking photos, or going down some reading rabbit hole. I’m curious by default, so I like exploring how the world works through nature, conversations, and ideas. I’m also into investing, great films, and music, and I love catching live gigs when I can. Most of all, I value spending time with my family, friends, and the people I care about.
One small “trophy” I’m genuinely proud of is that wherever I’ve been, I’ve met great people and built real connections. Even years later, former colleagues still reach out for a drink, a hangout, or a team event, and I take that as a quiet badge of honor.
Looking ahead, I see my career less as a 100 m sprint and more as a triathlon, a long game with obstacles. Over time, I want to bring together my engineering, product, strategy, and personal skills into entrepreneurship that creates real value for the community. And as I grow, I’d love to mentor younger people, share what I’ve learned, and help them build their own version of success.
